CHILDHOOD IN HAITI?

Stacks Image 349
Kenbe Fem Ministry is a children’s home that provides love, support, education and Christian teachings to 22 Haitian children. Once a child enters the ministry, they remain under the loving care of Danny and Leann Pye until they graduate from high school. The Pye’s hope and desire is that their unconventional approach to breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and homelessness will not only save their children, but will also save their children’s children; changing Haiti one child at a time.

Danny Pye, American Missionary Pastor, was wrongfully jailed in a Jacmel, Haiti prison for almost six months. After an ordeal that had him in a 9 x 12 cell with over 25 men, he now serves the needs of those same men and shares the forgiving love of God to everyone he meets, including the very ones who were responsible for his imprisonment.
